“We love fun. In fact, we’re fun-loving lovers of fun. And yet, we couldn’t be more serious about our food. We’re talking never-frozen beef, hand-cut fries, real ice cream shakes, and other delicious nouns preceded by quality-assuring adjectives. Here, ‘serious’ and ‘fun’ are one with the bun.”

Experience design: Eatery Wonderfulness!
We ordered in a couple Mooyah meals while the coronavirus was running rampant, so we didn’t actually get to go inside. However, they still made an effort to make the experience great for us. Mooyah offered free delivery to encourage us to stay home and be convenient, and someone wrote a cute message on our receipt for us!
Food: Average
Both the beef and black bean burgers have good flavor -- and are a good size. We ordered both sweet potato and regular potato fries, and they were both well-seasoned and perfectly cooked -- not too mushy (my preference) and not too crunchy (Kass’s preference). Plus, the signature Mooyah sauce is great with the burgers and both kinds of fries. While we forgot to order shakes, Kass says that she’s had them before and that they are the inferior straw shakes rather than of the superior spoon shake variety.
Fun Facts
The first Mooyah was opened in Plano, Texas in 2007
They are international with locations in 5 countries outside the US
Mooyah sauce is a creamy thousand island sauce
Fab or Flop
Fabulous! The food is good, even if they aren’t the best burgers and fries (and shakes) that we’ve ever had, and the way we were treated makes me want to go back and give them my business.
