"Relaxed Indian restaurant serving curries & tandoori fare in a contemporary, yellow-walled space."
Experience design: Eatery Wonderfulness! We were so impressed when we walked in! The outside isn't much to speak of, but once we walked through the doors, we were enveloped in wonderful smells and music that transported us to India. The staff was friendly and quick, and we never ran out of water because they put a little pitcher of water on the table for us to give ourselves refills.
Food: Eatery Wonderfulness! We got the lunch special, which includes 2 curries of your choice, rice, naan, raita (yogurt), salad, papad & kheer. All of this comes served up in a tasteful metal plate. It is a lot of food!
Everything was delicious, but the Chicken Tikki Masala knocked our socks off! Creamy and flavorful, it stopped me mid sentence! We both got Kurmas as well, lamb and vegetable, and enjoyed the creamy sauce. The naan is soft, the papad is crunchy and flavorful, and the kheer is the right combination of sweet and creamy with just a hint of cardamom. We were not wowed by the raita but found it made a good dipping sauce for the salad.
It looked great, it tasted amazing, and for $12 it was well worth the money for the amount of food you get. Fun Facts
It was voted no. 1 Indian cuisine in Utah county, 2017.
The bathroom is freezing!
If the South door doesn't open, pull harder. We walked around to the North side only to discover the first door wasn't locked, it was just pressurized by the wind.
Fab or Flop
Fabulous! We had a great time and we've been back many times since.
